Annual North Carolina trip

The North Carolina coast is called the Graveyard of the Atlantic - and for good reason - the sandy sea floor is littered with countless shipwrecks. Each met its end due to adverse weather, acts of war, and even intentional reefing. But no matter the cause, every wreck has become a welcome and vital haven for marine life. This has made North Carolina a go-to destination for divers from all over the world.

In June each year, the MetroWest Dive Club sponsors a week-long trip to explore just a handful of these amazing wreck sites. Details of the trip are discussed at the Club's General Meetings in the months preceding the trip.
